District 67 Character Traits: Teamwork • Caring • Honesty/Integrity • Respect, Responsibility

Ms. Binversie's 5th grade LA classes went to the Lake County Courthouse to visit a courtroom, the law library, and the office of County Clerk Williard Helander, where students learned about the duties of the County Clerk, participated in a mock vote, and a mock trial with real attorneys. The field trip was in connection to the student's year long theme of HONOR and two novels that they read, Crooked River, and Nothing But the Truth.

Emotional Wellness Survey

As part of our Emotional Wellness Initiative, we are utilizing short surveys for students, staff, and parents to look at the current school environment and supports offered to students. The survey results will be used to focus our efforts toward providing the best possible school environment and system of social-emotional support for everyone. Thank you very much for your participation!

Click here to take the survey - to be completed by Friday, June 1st.
