Distribution of Materials
- Flyers regarding events and activities sponsored by non-school groups require authorization of the Superintendent or his designee and shall meet the following criteria:
- Must be sponsored by a community-based (Lake Forest) organization that is non-commercial, non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political, and must not promote a fundraising event or activity (unless the event or activity benefits District 67 schools).
- Flyers must be submitted electronically as an email attachment (.pdf file) to Janice Patterson in the District Office (jpatterson@lfschools.net). A link to all approved flyers will be posted on the Community Programs pageof the district website .
- If you wish to have your information also included in each school's weekly e-newsletter sent their distribution list, you must include a one-sentence (brief) description of the event in the body of your email.
- For example: Everett’s Cub Scout Pack #148 will hold their first Pack Meeting on Tuesday, September 1st from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at Everett School.
- Approved flyers will be posted to our website once a week (Fridays). Submissions must be received no later than Tuesday by noon to allow time for approval before they are posted. District 67 is not responsible for submissions that are not provided in a timely manner, so please allow enough time before your event.
