Deer Path Middle School is Continuing to Expand their Advisory Program
DPM is continuing to expand their Advisory program and help their students make connections across the building. Did you know that their advisories now have a co-advisory classroom assigned to them, allowing for mentoring and team building to occur within the building? Our 8th graders are partnered with 6th grade, and 7th grade with 5th grade advisories. All the advisories had a kick-off activity. Ask your child what activity they planned for their partner advisory.
Summer Tech Camp for Teachers
Over 130 teachers from Lake Forest School District 67, Lake Bluff School District 65 and Lake Forest High School signed up to participate in the 2nd annual Summer Tech Camp for teachers. Four 5th Grade Classrooms Have Gone Digital
Thanks to the generosity of the Spirit of 67 Foundation, four of our 5th grade classrooms are piloting a digital classroom using netbooks as one of their primary tools for learning. Stay tuned for more information as the year progresses.
