Sheridan 1st, 2nd, 3rd Graders Use iPADS and
QR Codes for Research!

Mrs. Donoval's 2nd graders (Sheridan) collaborated, communicated and created with their Canadian Animal Research. In groups, they researched using a variety of resources, wrote an expository paper, and used iMovie on the ipad to create the video.

Students are shown during the first days of school, at the school picnic, and enjoying the APT Fine Arts Presentation (Charlotte's Web). First graders are also shown during their experiential learning about farms. New this year, in addition to the culminating learning event of a field trip to a farm, the farm came to first grade for some hands-on lessons, including how to press apples into cider and
how to identify various grains.

Cherokee students enjoyed Winterfest and a visit from author, Aaron Reynolds. The APT sponsors the Visiting Author Program with a grant from the Spirit of 67 Foundation.
