Internet Safety

“Take the opportunity to learn Internet safety strategies before your kids know more than you.”

I think we can all agree that Internet safety is more important than ever before. The challenge is that there is almost too much information for parents and teachers to keep up with. We are also realizing that much of the information is based on older understandings and is in need of updating.

The goal of our Internet Safety website (which debuted May 1, 2008) is to provide resources and guidance for parents and teachers who are looking for current information on all areas of Internet safety.

Rest assured that Internet safety does not require vast technical knowledge, just a set of common sense practices that helps keep kids safe online - much like holding your child’s hand when crossing the street.
