Cheerleading: The DPM cheerleaders capped off a great season by taking second place in the conference meet held at Buffalo Grove High School. The girls had also taken first at the Hawthorne invite earlier in the season. Way to go!

 

 

Basketball: The 7th Gold basketball completed their undefeated season by winning the conference tournament last Friday. They took the early lead against Highland Middle School, kept up the pressure, and never looked back. Congratulations!

 

 

Basketball: The 8th Grade Gold Basketball team took second place in the 2012 Norm Erickson Tournament.

 

Upcoming Events

Wrestling: The DPM wrestling tournament is this Saturday, January 28th. Come see some of the best talent and cheer on the DPM braves as they go to battle!

 

6th Grade Intramurals : 6th grade Basketball, Cheerleading, and Poms sign up will begin Monday January 23rd during lunch.

 

Athletic Physicals

Students must have an athletic physical for the current school year on file with the school nurse. Sports physicals are required prior to trying out for any sport at Deer Path Middle School. For more information, click here.

Information regarding Deer Path Middle School intramural and interscholastic athletics is included in the Athletic Handbook, which is part of the DPM Student Handbook.

 

Athletics Interscholastic Sports Program

A variety of interscholastic sports are provided for both boys and girls on a seasonal basis. Teams representing Deer Path Middle School compete against neighboring middle schools.

 

Intramural Sports Program

A wide range of intramural programs are also available for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. These activities are available to the entire student body and are scheduled over short periods of time.
